A story of how God provided

We wanted to get a full-length (88 keys) piano keyboard & 2nd hand ones were difficult to find. Most people were selling 66 keys version.

Two Saturdays ago, David went to a nearby Yamaha music shop just to check out the prices of brand new ones. While browsing, he bumped into some customers. One of them happened to be an Indonesian missionary, which meant that David could speak in English / Malay to him. His heart is to start a music ministry for youths here in Cambodia.

This missionary then told David of a few other shops further away to see if David might find some cheaper 2nd hand keyboards. He had previously purchased a good 2nd hand Kawai electronic piano 4 years ago from one of those shops. At this stage, David felt that this “chance meeting” must have been God at work – what was the likelihood that this missionary would be browsing the shop at the same time & was able to give him such helpful information?

The following Monday, David went to check out those shops. Only ONE shop sold a full length 2nd hand Kawai electronic piano (made in Japan). It also has many features similar to our own electronic piano in Perth (but slightly better and more portable).

The next day (20th of Dec), David returned to the shop with an OMFer who had a car, and managed to buy that electronic keyboard/piano.
Now we can have 'live' music at home, & it was great fun singing carols at home during Christmas. We hope this instrument will be a blessing to others in days and months to come!

But that’s not the end of the story.

Today, Jess was just casually checking our donation statements online, and saw that one of our supporting churches had given us a Christmas gift of the almost exact ($4 more!) amount of the piano keyboard, payment made on the 20th of Dec!

How amazing is that?!
